All fibers will be washed before processing. Washing is per pound based on incoming weight. This includes 3 wash cycles with two rinses each wash cycle.

If additional washing is necessary, the charge is $8 per pound

Washed fiber is carded twice.

Some fleeces benefit from a third carding.

Third carding is $8 per poud

While technically called “sliver”, roving is carded wool that is loved by handspinners.

Skirting removes parts of the fleece that are less optimal for processing. This includes mats, large areas of veggie matter, poopy bits and second cuts.
